4/17/08 - TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT The title of the second series in Tim's ongoing "painting procession" will be, Spoke With The Archer. The work will be made sometime in May. "It's work that uses language and statements in the same way you might pour cement or collect driftwood. They are better objects than they are paintings, but they'd probably prefer to be called neither of those things." Tim's first series, The Pistol Pete Paintings, consisted of six paintings and was released on Easter Sunday. The are currently available to view here. |
